Harmonee Corporation, a Missouri corporation (“Harmonee”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect Personal Information of our customers and users. This Policy applies to all Personal Information collected by us on harmonee.org, the Harmonee mobile application, any other website or applications that link to this Policy, as well as during any written, electronic, and oral communications (collectively, the “Services”). 

Your access to and use of our Services are subject to our Terms and Conditions, which define some of the terms used throughout this Policy. Please make sure you have carefully read and understand the Terms and Conditions before you use our Services. By using our Services, you accept the Terms and Conditions, and accept our privacy practices as described in this Policy. If you do not feel comfortable with any part of this Policy or our Terms and Conditions, you must not use or access our Services.

If you object to any changes, you must cease using our Services. 

This Policy became effective on the date indicated at the top of this page. Your continued use of our Services after any changes or revisions to this Policy indicates your agreement to the terms of the revised Policy. 


Information We Collect

When you use our Services, we may collect or receive Personal Information about you to provide our services and operate our business. The types of Personal Information that we may collect about you is as follows:

  • Payment Information - If you are a business posting questions on the platform, we may collect your billing address and payment method information.

  • Feedback Information - This may include any information you voluntarily share with us about your experience with our Services.

  • Demographic Information - We may collect various types of demographic information through the use of our Services. We store survey/form/application data (questions and responses) for you and provide analysis tools for you to use with respect to this information. We may collect and store general location information (such as IP address). If you permit the Services to access location services through the permission system used by your mobile operating system (“Platform”) or browser, we may also collect and store the precise location of your device when the Harmonee app is running in the foreground or background of your device.

  • Usage Information - We collect technical information associated with your usage of our Services that may include information related to your browser and operating system, IP address (the Internet address of your computer), unique device identifiers, and other information such as your device type. This may also include the webpage that you were visiting before accessing our Services, the pages or features of our Services that you browsed to inform us which part of our Services you visit and how much time you spend there.


Business Purpose for Collecting Information

Harmonee requires your personal data to provide you with access to Harmonee’s services, to comply with contractual and statutory obligations, including checks required by applicable export laws and to stay in touch with you. Although providing your personal data is voluntary, without your personal data, Harmonee cannot provide you with access to its services. Our Services also let you share information with others. 

We collect information directly from individuals, businesses and nonprofits through Harmonee’s platform. When you create an account and profile on Harmonee’s platform, we collect your name, contact information, and other information you provide. It enables us to give you access to our products and services and focus on categories of greatest interest to you. In addition, your personal information helps us keep you posted on the latest announcements and news that you might like to hear about.

  • The location information we collect may be used to help provide more accurate recommendations to you and to enhance your user experience and improve the Services. You can choose whether to enable the location tracking feature through the settings on your device or Platform or when prompted by the Harmonee mobile app. If you choose to disable the location feature, then this may hinder your access to more relevant content.

  • The usage information we collect may be used for diagnostic and statistical purposes and to administer our Services. We collect information to better understand customer traffic patterns and Services usage. This information is used to analyze and improve our Services and to provide our customers with a better user experience. We collect information about your preferences to make your use of our Services more productive through the use of cookies.

There are a number of situations in which your personal information may help us give you better products. When you interact with Harmonee, we may collect personal information relevant to the situation, such as your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and contact preferences. We also collect information for market research purposes, to gain a better understanding of our customers and thus provide more valuable service.

Please note that if you choose to cancel your account, your data will be deleted from our systems.

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and to maintain a record of your transactions for financial reporting purposes. We will also retain and use your Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Fees and Payment

Fees for Services: You agree to pay Harmonee any fees for each service you purchase or use, in accordance with the pricing and payment terms presented to you for that service. Where applicable, you will be billed using the billing method agreed upon when your services agreement was signed. Fees paid by you are non-refundable, except as provided in these Terms or when required by law.

Taxes: Unless otherwise stated, you are responsible for any taxes or duties associated with the sale of the Services, including any related penalties or interest (collectively, “Taxes”). You will pay Harmonee for the Services without any reduction for Taxes. If Harmonee is obliged to collect or pay Taxes, the Taxes will be invoiced to you, unless you provide Harmonee with a valid tax exemption certificate authorized by the appropriate taxing authority or other documentation providing evidence that no tax should be charged. If you are required by law to withhold any Taxes from your payments to Harmonee, you must provide Harmonee with an official tax receipt or other appropriate documentation to support such payments.

Price Changes: Harmonee may change the fees charged for the Services at any time, provided that, for Services billed on a subscription basis, the change will become effective only at the end of the then-current billing cycle of your Subscription.
